Child Safety Initiative
The Child Safety Initiative (CSI) is a charitable effort to prevent cruelty to children and ensure their safety.
CSI is an initiative of Nora PBC, our parent company. Learn more about our organizational structure and strategy by viewing our documents.
02
Collective Effort
CSI is a collective of people, companies, and organizations bound by the belief that every child deserves to be safe and live a life of meaning and well-being. Together, we design and support strategies that promote the physical, emotional, and psychological safety of children across the United States. Our initial efforts focus on Oklahoma—where 28.5% of children have experienced two or more Adverse Childhood Experiences (data).
03
NORA
As the central platform of CSI, the National Online Reporting Assistant (NORA) streamlines the reporting of child abuse and neglect. It ensures that each report is well-organized and includes all critical information, helping state protection agencies make informed safety decisions more quickly. To learn more about NORA or to report abuse or neglect, visit: www.mynora.org

Phase Two
In Phase Two of CSI, we’re introducing NORA to schools—as educators are the primary reporters of abuse and neglect. Through comprehensive training and direct access to NORA, schools can improve the consistency and accuracy of their reports, reducing the risk of legitimate concerns being screened out due to insufficient information or misunderstandings about what constitutes abuse or neglect.
